Best Wishes ~ Mr. Rich

To the Class of 2016:

I would like to express my thanks to the leadership that the class of 2016 has shown to the LCCTC community. Rather than sharing platitudes of advice, I would like to share the depth of gratitude.

We, the professional community of LCCTC, challenged you to do better. We challenged you academically. You responded. In the era of the Keystone exams, you have outperformed your predecessors. You have created a standard for others to aspire.

We, the professional community of LCCTC, challenged you to do better. We challenged you vocationally. You responded. Your pre-NOCTI results indicate excellence. If the actual NOCTIs match our expectations, You will have outdone your predecessors again.

We, the professional community of LCCTC, challenged you to do better. We challenged you socially. You responded. You lead a school where 2/3 of the population is referral free. You lead a school where 80% of the students have 3 or less referrals to the office. We are a school of hockey trips, ice-skating, fishing trips, and baseball games. We enjoy and reward doing what is right.

I ask you but one favor; pay it forward. You have an obligation to continue life and be a proud reflection of your school, your community, your family, and yourself. Take great pride in what you have done. Have great anticipation in what you can do. Remember 3 simple rules; that can guide you to success in life; Go where you are supposed to go. Be there on time. When you are there, use your God-given abilities to the very best you can.

Yours in education and a friend for the rest of your days,

Mr. Leonard A. Rich
