It has been said that a "simple act of kindness can make a tremendous impact on a person's life."
This December, the Journalism class took this quote to heart as they worked to publish their third newspaper AND took time to share a simple act of kindness with those who may not see a Christmas card this year.
Eagle staff members will deliver messages of cheer in the form of Christmas cards to residents at Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care, Golden Hills, and Jameson Care Center -- all places where the Eagle staff works and completes service projects.
Aesop once said, "No act of kindness was ever wasted." It is with this mind-set that we in the Journalism club we wish those in our society's "golden years" a very, very Merry Christmas.
