Peanut Butter Cookies ~ Samantha Amon

I absolutely love Peanut Butter; I could probably eat it on almost any food. When I found that there was a such thing as Peanut Butter Cookies, I was madly in love! These have become my go-to cookies for the holiday season.

Ingredients:
½ cup of Sugar
½ cup of Brown Sugar
½ cup of Butter (softened)
½ cup of Peanut Butter
1 egg
1 ¼ cup of Flour
¾ teaspoon of Baking Soda
½ cup of Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon of Salt

First, start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Second, gather all the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt) and combine them in a bowl.

Next, it's time for your wet ingredients (eggs, softened butter, and peanut butter) to be mixed in a separate bowl.

Carefully add both bowls of ingredients together; the dough should be silky smooth.

Finally, we're going to make cookies. You'll start by rolling the peanut butter cookie dough into a ball. Next, with a bowl of sugar off to the side, we're going to use a fork and criss-cross sugar on the top of the cookie.

Make sure your cookie sheet is coated in a non-stick spray. When placing your cookies, they should be two finger spaces apart

Allow them to bake for 10-14 minutes. Once they are cooled you have a delicious cookie to munch on, OR you can take it one extra step and place a Hershey Kiss on top of the still warm cookie and have a Blossom!
