It's Worth It to be Good! ~ Sam Amon

Tie 5-5! This now means we have to go into overtime! Only 4:32 left in overtime and this game is looking close! Wait, what’s this? SCORE! Phantoms have won the game 6-5!

On October 2, 2015 seventy-seven LCCTC students traveled to Youngstown, OH to watch a hockey game between the Youngstown Phantoms and Muskegon Lumberjacks. Students who had an outstanding discipline record with zero referrals were able to pay $7 to buy a ticket. The day before the trip, the office had a drawing to pick a few students who would be able to go for free. This trip was use to encourage students to strive for their best behavior and to not getting written up or sent to the office.

In the future, there are springtime plans to go to a baseball game. However -- the same rules apply, no discipline record.

So, let this be your heads up - If you want to get out of school for a day of sports and fun, be on your best behavior. Don’t get written up. don’t get a detention, or suspended and you’ll be rewarded!
