Meet Mr. Miller, the Machinist ~ Madison Hansotte

Surrounded by metal shavings and big dreams of success for his students, Mr. Miller is from Columbiana, Ohio.  He has two boys, the oldest, 24, and the youngest, 18.

Mr. Miller is an Army veteran; he has served our country for three years.  Mr. Miller attended Choffin Career Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Something unique about Mr. Miller is he loves being a Machinist. He loves the new kids and working with them.

His favorite foods are: steak and baked potato. His favorite music is country. His top two TV channels are the History and Discovery channels. When he’s not teaching, Mr. Miller likes to go hunting, fishing, camping with his fiancé, and training his German short-haired pointer.

When asked to finish the sentence, "Nobody would believe it if I told you...," his response was, “I handled nuclear weaponry in the Army.”

His thoughts on machine trade. “No matter how much you think you know about machine trades," he chuckles, "you’ll never know everything.”
