Get Fit: Healthy Holiday Eating ~ Presley Boots

Holidays equal family, friends, and food, but how can we balance the last while whittling away our waistline?

What are good ways to stay fit during the holly-jolly holidays without turning into Jolly Old Saint Nick? Here are some good tips from our very own school nurse, Mrs. Cwynar.

  • Get as much rest as possible and drink plenty of water.
  • Don’t pack on them dreadful pounds, WORK OUT!!
  • Don’t eat so much on the holidays, watch your proportions.
  • Have a splurge day instead of taking in a lot of unhealthy food everyday with the leftovers.

With these few tips, you can still enjoy your delicious holiday foods.  It’s good to eat, but we tend to over-do. Your portions may be smaller, but know you're helping yourself in the long run.

Think about your health next holiday when you're wanting to pile up your plate. Follow these few helpful tips. They will benefit you in many ways.
