Spotlight: Logan Michaels, Junior Class President ~ by Jem Montgomery

Hammer in hand; Logan Michaels is not your average eleventh grade student. Aside from being the Junior Class President, he has aspirations of going to the University of Pittsburgh to become an engineer.

This Building Trades student from Ellwood City enjoys learning to build the future and is proud to be getting an education from teachers who explain their content in a way that is easy to understand and makes sense for his career in the field of construction.

Logan's favorite quote is a song lyric from Wiz Khalifa that states, "We must get hurt in order to grow, fail in order to know and lose in order to gain." These lyrics help remind him to be

Senior Health Assistant student, Jem Montgomery has been sworn into the United States Navy as an E1 Seaman Recruit. After graduation, she will serve her country as a Medic and plans to continue her education to become a Psychologist or Therapist in a VA Hospital. In her spare time, you will most likely find her spending time with her family and friends OR with her nose in a classic novel.
