Prom Dreams ~ by Savannah Harris

"Life has "issues" and we encourage them to find a solution that fits.

Dresses in every color of the rainbow waited for just the right girl on Friday, March 18th and Saturday, March 19th.

Lawrence County CTC sends a big THANKS to Feed My Sheep, Diane D’Amore Mangino, Kurt (Machine Tool Tech Teacher at LCCTC) and Melissa Miller, Leslie McClellan, LCCTC students and several from the community who helped to make the dreams for many girls from all across Lawrence County come true.

Over 120 FREE prom gowns, shoes, purses and accessories, some with tags still in tact, were gifted to students in need at Feed My Sheep and Prom Dreams of Lawrence County.

Several LCCTC students were able to earn community service hours by setting up, cleaning up , tearing down and modeling some of the beautiful gowns on display.

"It was beautiful, almost like a dream! Knowing that all these beautiful gowns were on display for us to choose from" said one student from LCCTC.  "Life can be tough, but this will really help me enjoy myself at the next dance."

Another student from LCCTC said "It was a very fun and an exciting experience to see so many girls get these beautiful dresses!  I was very excited for them."

Feed My Sheep is an outreach ministry where people can come for spiritual and physical help in New Castle, PA. People from different churches in Lawrence County work alongside the staff of Feed My Sheep to find jobs or simply help anyway they can.

LCCTC would like to thank Feed My Sheep and Prom Dreams of Lawrence County for all the beautiful gowns. LCCTC would also like to thank Feed My Sheep, for the time and devotion they put into this event. Many of the girls from LCCTC would like to  thank you for your generosity and time! They cannot wait to wear those beautiful gowns they have received!  We cannot wait to see them!

If you or anyone you know may need help, Feed My Sheep Ministries may help you!  They invite you come and attend a service, or even join them for a cup of coffee and lunch.
