Crafty-Corner: Milk Jug Jack-o-Lantern

~ By Brandee D'Ambrosi

Although carving pumpkins is a lot of fun, not everybody enjoys the feeling of the slimy insides of the pumpkin. With this 2-step DIY, that’s not a problem!

Things You Will Need
A milk jug or any type of plastic container
Your favorite permanent markers

Step 1-  Use your permanent marker to draw an outline of your spooktacular Jack O’Lantern face. Since you are the artist, you can make it as simple or complex as you’d like! Originality is great!

Step 2- For the last step (yes, I said last), fill in the face you just drew! You can use any color you’d like.

When you’re done, you can do whatever you’d like with your Jack O’Lantern. Since they’re so easy and fun to make, make as many as you want; the possibilities are endless!
Just like pumpkins come in many different shapes and sizes, so do plastic containers! Draw a silly face on any of your empty drink containers, and you’re ready to go!

If you display it outside, a little sand in the bottom will be sure to secure it in place, even in a gentle breeze. You can put a small candle inside of your pumpkin to make it glow; for safe celebrating, you can also put a battery-operated one in your milk jug Jack O’Lantern!
