Kindal Procopio decided to come
to LCCTC from New Castle to try something new and that move seems to have paid
off.
One new thing she decided,
despite being “shy,” was to run for sophomore class president. It looks like
this risk-taking move paid off; you can now call her "Madame
President," but it's not necessary -- just "Kindal" is fine.
Her main job this year was to
help plan the Holiday Dance with the theme Winter Wonderland, and if you
ask anyone who attended, it was truly wonderful. "Planning
the holiday dance was a new but really fun experience, " reflected Kindal. "We could've done
whatever we wanted, but we decided to keep it simple and make sure it was fun
for everyone." Kindal added, "I hope to be president next year too, so I can make prom even more fun!".
When she’s not busy being a class
officer, Kindal enjoys riding her quad, and on Sundays you will find her
watching The Walking Dead. Her favorite colors are blue and green, and
her favorite music artist is 21 Pilots.
When considering her experience in Vet Tech (VT), she comments, "In VT
I believe that the thing I love most about it; is playing with the animals in
our spare time. Every day we come in, it's like a guessing game of what animals
we are going to be taking care of that day. It's not all fun and games though,
it's a lot of hard work and learning. VT is a wonderful shop."
Kindal’s
favorite animal is an owl. Who knows -- someday, with her Vet Tech skills, she
may get a chance to aid in helping an owl.
