Fright Fest

Congratulations to the LCCTC students for their participation in this year's Cascade Park Fright Fest to benefit the American Cancer Society. $5150 was raised. So many outside including of our LCCTC family helped to make this annual event a huge success including event organizer, Camden and Brandel Cwynar, our school nurse's sons; students from Shenango high school; and Ernie Copper from the American Cancer Society.

Why give up a perfectly good weekend?
"I wanted to be involved in something really fun," states Rachel Duffy, Restaurant Trades Sophomore, "and to be able to help the people who need it. It's a big event, and I'm glad I got to be a part of it."

Riley Leonard, Restaurant Trades Sophomore, agrees but she has a little more to add: "That, in itself was a good reason. But being able to dress up, scare people, and hang out with some amazing people was a huge plus, too."

Doug Hagg, Masonry senior, who is also an Eagle Scout and committed to a live of service, comments that he had "loads of fun."  I think all who attended and participated can agree!
